flash SIGMA EF-610 DG ST, comentarios?

a lo mejor nadie aquí lo tiene pero como quiera pregunto si hay algun comentario que tengan a respecto…

con esto del viaje al Triunfo y en el entendido que es dificil hacer fotografia por la naturaleza del habitat… bosque de niebla+arboles altisimos, creo que lo ideal sería llevar flash, y dada la economía pues no me puedo aventar a comprar los Canon speedlite 580 o 600EX, entonces al igual que Sigma suple muy bien los lentes de los carisimos canon, pues quizá en flashes tambien lo hace, o no creen?

no se rene, pero esta a buen precio, es difícil esto de los flashes, pero alla arriba seguro es necesario

pues en amazon dice que pesa 8 onzas, eso es igual a 226 gramos, y del Canon 430 dice 11.7 onzas= 331 gr

Siempre me pregunté si era conveniente usar flash para fotografiar aves. ¿Tienen buen alcance? ¿No salen las fotos muy artificiales?
He usado el que trae la cámara un par de veces, sólo me ha sido útil muy cerca y me gustó nada más con dos fotos. ¿De qué manera se le podría sacar mejor provecho?
